Erdogan at the General Assembly: There is no justification for Israel's brutality in Gaza

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed in his speech at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday that the crimes committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip cannot be justified by any logic.
Erdogan stated that Israel continues to commit massacres against civilians, noting that the death toll has exceeded 65,000, including more than 20,000 children, while thousands of people remain buried under the rubble. He added: "For the past 23 months, a child in Gaza is killed every hour by Israel. These are not just numbers and statistics, but innocent lives being lost, not only by weapons but also by starvation."
To highlight the magnitude of the tragedy, the Turkish president raised a picture of women holding empty plates in Gaza, addressing world leaders: "Listen to your consciences, and answer: Is there any logic that can justify this brutality in 2025? This shameful scene repeats itself day after day for the past 23 months."
He also displayed another picture of children dying of hunger, asking: "What human conscience can bear to see such a thing? How can we remain silent in the face of children dying of hunger? And how can the world talk about peace and security while these images are glaring before our eyes?"
