Egypt demanded during a Security Council session to enable the Gaza Management Committee to enter the sector to manage daily affairs during the transitional phase, in support of President Donald Trump's plan to end the war and ensure the stability of humanitarian and security conditions.

Deployment of International Stabilization Force

Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty emphasized the necessity of forming an international force to monitor the ceasefire, alongside the deployment of Palestinian police to ensure security, with the Palestinian Authority ready to assume its full responsibilities in the sector.

Rejection of Settlement and Israeli Violations

Abdelatty condemned Israeli actions that threaten the regional unity of Palestinian land, calling for respect for international law and Security Council resolutions, and halting any attempts aimed at changing the legal or demographic status in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Protection of Civilians and Facilitation of Aid

The statement emphasized the importance of ensuring the unobstructed access of humanitarian aid, protecting civilians and infrastructure, respecting the role of UNRWA, and preventing any displacement or violence by settlers.
