The Syrian Bakery Establishment reassured citizens in all provinces that bread will be available daily during the Eid al-Adha holiday. Public bakeries will continue to operate without interruption throughout the holiday, with the exception of Friday, the weekly day off for bakeries. The General Manager of the establishment, Mohammed Al-Sayyadi, confirmed that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the continuity of bread production during the holiday. The bakeries will operate at full capacity after securing all the necessary ingredients, including flour, yeast, fuel, and other materials. This decision aims to meet the daily needs of citizens during the holiday and prevent any congestion or shortage of bread, especially given the increased demand for this essential item during holidays. The establishment is in constant coordination with its directorates in various provinces to monitor operations and ensure fair and regular distribution of bread in all areas. Inspection and supervision teams will be present on the ground to monitor performance and intervene when necessary. The director emphasized that bakeries will only be closed on Fridays, in adherence to the usual weekly holiday, urging citizens not to worry about the availability of bread during the holiday. These measures are part of the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection's plan to ensure the supply of essential goods to citizens during the Eid al-Adha holiday and maintain the stability of supply services in various Syrian regions.
