In complete secrecy and with the latest technologies, the British intelligence agency "MI6" ( MI6 ) has launched a new website on the dark web, aimed at recruiting spies in Russia and around the world.
The site, named "Silent Mail", provides a secure communication channel that allows anyone with sensitive information about terrorism or hostile intelligence activities to contact Britain without revealing their identity.
MI6 announced that complete instructions for accessing this site are available through its official YouTube channel, emphasizing the importance of using the secure "Tor" browser to browse the dark web, with a recommendation to use devices and email not linked to individuals to avoid suspicion.
In case the "Tor" browser is blocked, it is advised to use VPN networks to ensure access.
During the launch of the site, Richard Moore, the outgoing head of MI6, said:
"Our virtual door is open to potential spies".
For her part, British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper confirmed that "the world is changing and threats are increasing, and we must ensure that the United Kingdom is always one step ahead of its adversaries".
She added: "We are enhancing the agency's efforts with the latest technologies to recruit new spies in Russia and around the world, which strengthens the security of our country".
It is worth noting that the agency "MI6", known for the famous character James Bond, seeks through this new step to expand its intelligence network in light of the rising global security challenges.
