"Arrest of content creator Nourhan Hafzi in Giza on charges related to digital content and drug possession"

The security forces of the Giza Security Directorate arrested content creator Nourhan Hafzi, known on social media platforms, following reports accusing her of posting videos "contrary to public morals" that contained implications considered by the authorities as incitement to debauchery.
Security sources stated that the arrest took place inside her residence in the Al-Hadayek Al-Ahram area, where a quantity of the drug "ice" (methamphetamine) was found in her possession, in addition to three mobile phones and a flash drive containing videos and conversations, as well as cash amounts in US dollars totaling about $70,000, the source of which is under investigation.
The accused admitted during the initial investigations to posting controversial clips for the purpose of attracting views and making financial profits, and she also confessed to possessing the drug for personal use.
The public prosecution decided to detain Nourhan Hafzi for four days pending investigations, and referred her to forensic medicine for the necessary medical examination, in preparation for a decision regarding renewing her detention or releasing her.
This incident falls within an ongoing security campaign aimed at monitoring digital content on social media platforms, based on the Anti-Cybercrime Law, as the campaign has previously targeted other content creators on similar charges.
