Director Tamer Iskander announced the start of filming the series "Below Zero" in the United Arab Emirates, after completing filming his series "Qita' Wared" in Syria.

The series unfolds in a deep and intriguing dramatic framework, revealing a set of complex human conflicts and the overwhelming circumstances surrounding them to shed light on issues of justice and the struggle to reach the desired truth. It also reflects the evolution of human relationships and the difficulty of the situations faced by the characters in the story.

According to the writer Muayad Al Nabulsi, the series highlights the behind-the-scenes of a family program called "Below Zero," where the contestant sits on the confession chair to embark on a journey of dangerous questions that could lead the contestant's social life below zero. The program is presented by a prominent media figure who becomes the target of a conspiracy by a contestant that takes him to the abyss, as events intertwine leading to a murder, making all characters in the series suspects. The series also reflects the power of money and how one can sacrifice their family life in the face of material temptations.

The production company owned by Majd Jajaa confirms that "Below Zero" will be one of its "most important and largest" works, focusing on delivering a project that achieves the desired success without compromising on the production conditions to achieve high quality.

The series is expected to be filmed in several Arab countries, with the participation of a group of Syrian drama stars including Ayman Zeidan, Fayez Qozak, Bassam Yakhour, Abed Fahd, Kinda Hanna, Jenny Esber, Sahar Fawzi, and Ahmed Al-Ahmad. The series, consisting of 15 episodes, is scheduled to be aired during the Ramadan season in 2025.
