Amnesty International revealed today, Friday, that Palestinians in the West Bank have faced more than 860 violent attacks by settlers since the beginning of 2025, confirming that these assaults often occur under the protection of Israeli forces and are part of the apartheid system imposed by Israel in the occupied territories.
In a statement published by the organization, it emphasized that "world leaders have a legal obligation to dismantle the illegal Israeli occupation and end the apartheid system in the West Bank," calling for urgent international action to protect Palestinian civilians and stop the ongoing violations.
These statements come amid rising violence in various areas of the West Bank, where human rights reports have documented collective assaults on olive harvesters and forced displacement in communities like Massafer Yatta south of Hebron.
