America .. 3 people killed and 10 others injured in a shooting in South Philadelphia

American authorities announced the killing of 3 people and the injury of 10 others in a shooting that occurred early Monday morning in a neighborhood south of the city of Philadelphia.

Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel told reporters that the three dead were adults, and that two of the injured were minors, indicating that the shooting took place shortly before 1 a.m. in a residential street in the Grays Ferry area.

Bethel explained: "We have many shots fired in the residential square".

Police reported that an armed person has been detained.

Bethel mentioned that the police had already arrived at the same residential square late Saturday night until Sunday morning, and some people were arrested.

The reason for the shooting is not immediately known.
