Aleppo Governor announces the existence of a plan to establish a second international airport in northern Syria.

Governor of Aleppo, Azam Al-Ghareeb, announced during a meeting with the Syrian community in Istanbul, Turkey today, Friday, the existence of a plan to establish a second international airport in northern Syria, with a capacity of up to 15 million passengers annually. Al-Ghareeb explained that the current focus is on studying and selecting the most suitable location for the new airport, aiming to provide modern aviation infrastructure to meet the growing city's needs. He confirmed that the current airport suffers from limited space and a lack of basic services, necessitating the establishment of a new airport to keep up with modern developments.
