Fully reopening Syrian airspace to civilian air traffic.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation in Syria has announced the complete reopening of Syrian airspace to all civil aviation movements, following the removal of the reasons that led to the temporary closure of some air corridors in the past period.
In an official statement posted on its "Telegram" channel, the Authority stated: "The Syrian airspace is now safe and ready for use by airlines, in accordance with international standards for aviation safety and security."
The statement added that all air corridors, including those connecting Syrian airports to regional and international networks, have been fully opened to resume air traffic.
The Authority affirmed that it "will continue to monitor regional developments closely and is prepared to take any additional measures if necessary to ensure the highest levels of safety in Syrian airspace."
It also reiterated its full commitment to providing a safe operational environment for air traffic, through continuous coordination with relevant local and international authorities, ensuring the smooth continuation of air navigation in the skies of the Syrian Arab Republic.
It is worth noting that Syrian Arab Airlines had earlier announced the temporary suspension of all its flights until further notice, due to escalating security tensions in the region.
The company had stated in a previous statement on its official "Facebook" page that the decision was made "out of concern for the safety of passengers and flight crews," confirming that flights "will resume as soon as the situation returns to normal and safe flying conditions are available."
