Abbas Araghchi: Uranium Enrichment is a Sovereign Right and Iran Rejects American Impositions

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed on Saturday that his country will not give up its right to enrich uranium, emphasizing that this right is guaranteed under international treaties and no party can prevent Iran from exercising it due to their own concerns.

In statements reported by official media, Araghchi pointed to Tehran's readiness to engage in negotiations aimed at building trust and addressing concerns related to the nuclear program, affirming that Iran welcomes any fair and balanced agreement that ensures the interests of all parties.

The Iranian minister criticized the United States' approach to managing negotiations, describing it as "based on impositions," and asserting that his country will not submit to this approach but insists on the independence of its political and technical decisions.
