Social media users have circulated an audio recording attributed to the Syrian artist Assala Nasri, her ex-husband the director Tarek Al-Arian, and their son Khaled Al-Dhahabi, which sparked a wave of controversy and criticism among internet users.

The recording shows a tense conversation between Al-Arian and Khaled, where the latter accused his mother's ex-husband of insulting her, to which Al-Arian responded with harsh words, before the conversation escalated into accusations of theft. Later, Assala intervened in the discussion, directing offensive remarks towards Al-Arian and his current wife.

Despite the wide circulation of the recording, its date remains unknown, and the technical validity has not yet been confirmed. Some followers believe that the recording reflects the ongoing conflict between Assala and Al-Arian after years of separation, while others consider it could be a deliberate attempt to harm both parties together.
