Die libanesische Armee gibt bekannt, dass der Hauptverdächtige im Mordfall von Pascal Sliman von den syrischen Behörden übergeben wurde.

In a new development in the case of the kidnapping and assassination of Pascal Sliman, the Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Guidance announced in an official statement the handover of the main suspect in the case from the Syrian authorities to the Army's Cooperation and Coordination Office after a series of coordination contacts between the two sides.
The statement identified the detainee as "Ahmad Noon," indicating that he is "one of the key elements involved in the crime, considered the mastermind of a gang operating in the fields of kidnapping, theft, and forgery, and has several arrest warrants issued against him."
The statement added that the detainee "was handed over to the Army Intelligence Directorate, where the competent authorities began interrogating him under the supervision of the relevant judiciary," as part of the ongoing efforts to uncover all the details of the crime.
It is worth mentioning that Pascal Sliman, a prominent figure in the "Lebanese Forces" party, was kidnapped on April 7, 2024, from the Jbeil area, before his body was found in Syrian territory about 36 hours after his disappearance, sparking widespread condemnation in Lebanon at both the official and popular levels.
