Civil Defense in Gaza Issues Distress Call to Rescue Dozens Trapped in Sabra Neighborhood

The Civil Defense in Gaza announced on Sunday evening that it has been receiving distress calls from dozens of citizens trapped in the Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City since yesterday, after Israeli occupation aircraft completely destroyed their homes.

Rescue teams confirmed that the humanitarian situation in the neighborhood is extremely catastrophic, amid ongoing bombardment and the prevention of crews from reaching the injured, emphasizing the urgent need for international community intervention to pressure the occupation to allow the evacuation of the trapped and to rescue the wounded.

This call comes at a time when airstrikes continue on various areas of the sector, amid a near-total collapse of medical and humanitarian infrastructure, threatening the lives of thousands of civilians.
