Lamine Yamal's absence from Barcelona training raises doubts about his participation against Newcastle

Barcelona continued its preparations for the match against Newcastle United on Thursday evening in the first round of the Champions League group stage, with a training session held today, Tuesday, at the "Tito Vilanova" stadium under the guidance of German coach Hans Flick.
The training session saw the absence of young Spanish star Lamine Yamal, raising questions about his potential participation in the upcoming European match. Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo reported that his absence from collective training makes it nearly impossible for him to join the match from a technical standpoint.
Flick is expected to announce the list of players who will participate in the match on Wednesday morning before the team's delegation travels to England on the same day.
On the other hand, the training session had positive news with the return of Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong after fully recovering from injury, as he participated in the training normally.
It is worth mentioning that Lamine Yamal returned from the Spanish national team camp suffering from groin pain, which caused him to miss the recent match against Valencia in the domestic league. Despite participating with the national team during the international break, his involvement in the two matches exacerbated his health condition and delayed his full return to the pitch.
