Xiaomi releases new updates for the HyperOS system to address issues with Redmi Turbo 4 Pro following user complaints.
Xiaomi has released its latest weekly update through the Xiaomi forum, confirming its ongoing progress in addressing the software issues reported by users, amidst the continuous expansion of launching the HyperOS system on an increasing number of devices. The update issued on May 2 focused on resolved errors and ongoing investigations, specifically involving the recently launched Redmi Turbo 4 Pro phone, as reported by Gizmochina. According to the official announcement, Xiaomi managed to fix two major issues in the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro phone with the latest version of HyperOS, numbered 2.0.114.0, including improvements to address screen malfunctions occurring under certain conditions, as well as resolving a touchscreen responsiveness issue that intermittently stopped working for some users. Xiaomi's work was not limited to this model only, as it acknowledged the existence of many other issues under investigation across a wide range of devices operating on HyperOS. Among these issues is a noticeable delay when scrolling up the screen quickly after opening the weather tool and launching another application, affecting user experience smoothness. The company is also working on correcting a flaw in displaying power usage information and battery statistics within the power-saving mode in the "Phone Manager" application, aiming to provide users with more accurate and reliable battery performance data. Xiaomi did not overlook reports related to the screen recording feature, acknowledging a significant delay in some cases during recording, along with instances of complete malfunction of the feature under certain conditions. These issues have been included in the priorities for future updates. Additionally, efforts are underway to address a bug affecting task automation in the phone management application, as unexpected changes were recorded in automatic drivers related to power management after system reset, leading to unintended modifications in device performance. Multiple complaints have also been received regarding lock screen issues, including overlap between the lock screen and the call interface when answering incoming calls with the screen locked, malfunction of the double-tap activation feature when using the default theme, and occasional misalignment of the time display on the lock screen. In conclusion, Xiaomi urged users to continue reporting technical issues through the Xiaomi community platform and follow the "Xiaomi Announcements" section for the latest updates and immediate developments regarding system performance and their devices.
