The Syrian Ministry of Education revealed today, Thursday, the launch of registration instructions for students of basic and secondary education certificates, including vocational ones, through two innovative digital applications: "Al-Modir" for regular students and "Ahrar" for free students. According to "Al-Watan," the exams director, Mahmoud Haboub, stated: "The registration process started in February and is ongoing until its final deadline today, Thursday, with more than 700,000 students registered so far, in one of the largest electronic registration operations in the ministry's history." Haboub confirmed that instructions have been given to exam centers in all provinces to prepare question printing centers and results entry centers, in preparation for distributing students to exam centers. After printing the exam cards, the practical stages begin, with the practical exam dates set as follows: Vocational education: May 24, Religious education: May 19, while secondary and basic education exams: June 14. The exams director explained that free students this year will be treated exactly like their regular counterparts, as they will be distributed to the same centers and halls to ensure discipline and reduce cheating, noting that this method has proven successful in liberated areas in previous years before the fall of the former regime, resulting in a decrease in cheating rates by over 45%. Regarding the new numbering system, the exams director mentioned that the exam card will include the student's name, registration number, center name, hall number, and pre-assigned seat number, emphasizing that all these details are designed to ensure the student reaches their designated place directly without confusion and to facilitate organization within the centers.
