Sources reported injuries in an explosion of an explosive device targeting an ambulance in the countryside of Al-Suwayda, this Thursday morning, May 29, 2025.
According to Syrian media, the explosion occurred on the Arqah - Najran road in western Al-Suwayda, resulting in six injuries, all of whom were taken to the National Hospital for treatment.
Sources confirmed that the road was normal before the explosion, indicating that the explosive device was planted on the road the previous night.
Details indicate that the ambulance was on its way to transfer patients from the town of Arqah to the National Hospital for kidney dialysis sessions.

Mania Hamad Al-Najem, from the residents of the town of Arqah.
The ages of the injured from the town of Arqah range between 40 and 50 years old.
According to a medical source, everyone suffered injuries from shrapnel scattered in various parts of the body.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the incident and the party behind planting the explosive device, with no official statement issued so far.
