The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the availability of scholarships offered by "COMSATS" University in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, for postgraduate studies (Master's and Ph.D.) for the academic year 2025/2026. The ministry explained that the scholarships cover various fields including computer science, electrical engineering, materials physics, earth sciences, mathematics, international relations, remote sensing, geographic information systems, chemistry, environmental sciences, project management, biological sciences, development studies, software engineering, civil engineering, and chemical engineering. The scholarships are exempt from one-time registration fees, admission fees, laboratory and bank fees, as well as semester registration and tuition fees waiver for students. The scholarships cover travel visa expenses, accommodation, and meals. The ministry stated that online registration is available until June 30 through the link: http://ww2.comsats.edu.pk/internationalstudents/COMSATS-HQ.aspx The ministry also announced another fully funded scholarship from the Center of Excellence in Indonesia, affiliated with the Committee on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS) and the "Institute of Technology November 10" (ITS), designated for doctoral students for the year 2025. These scholarships include fields of science, technology, engineering, and related areas, with the possibility of registration through the following link: https://simad.its.ac.id After registration, a notification is sent to the secretariat of the "COMSATS" committee via email: irfan@comsats.org, farhan@comsats.org The ministry clarified that scholarship details, conditions, and dates are determined by the funding agencies, with the application period continuing until May 31.
