The Syrian artist Wafa Moslehi revealed for the first time personal details from her marital life, considering that the love story her husband had with another woman during her pregnancy was not "betrayal", but a painful yet real experience.

In her talk on the podcast "Al-Omr" with Syrian journalist Odi Mansour, Moslehi explained that her husband traveled to the Netherlands to attend a training course for doctors, where he became emotionally involved with another woman.

She continued that she discovered this while she was five months pregnant, which made her go through difficult moments of sadness and disappointment.

Despite her pain, Moslehi affirmed that she refused to describe what happened as betrayal, saying:
"I was deeply hurt… but I realized it was true love, not a fleeting infatuation. I am not emotionally cold, and I saw that he was broken and in pain as well."

The Syrian star indicated that she tried to stay strong and support her husband for the sake of her family, adding:
"I did not want my child to be born in the absence of his father, so I chose to endure and stand by him despite the pain I felt."
