Foiling of a Drone Attack on the Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh

The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced today the foiling of an attempt to target the diplomatic quarter in the capital Riyadh using a drone, confirming that there were no injuries among civilians or material damage resulting from the incident.
This is the second attempt following the previous Iranian attack that targeted the U.S. embassy in Riyadh, where two drones were launched causing a limited fire and minor damage to the building.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry confirmed the continuation of Iranian attacks against civilian facilities despite recent commitments from Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian to cease assaults on neighboring countries, describing them as "cowardly and brazen".
The Kingdom stated that these attacks occurred despite Tehran's knowledge that Saudi Arabia would not allow the use of its airspace or territory to target Iran, emphasizing that it would take all necessary measures to defend the security of its territory and protect its citizens and residents, including the option to respond to any aggression.
This event comes amid ongoing regional tensions and an escalation of Iranian attacks on Saudi Arabia and Gulf countries, with anticipation regarding how the Kingdom will confront these recurring threats.
