The King of Bahrain Affirms Commitment to Peace and Support for Gulf Security After Iranian Attacks

Bahraini monarch Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is committed to supporting everything that enhances security and stability in the region, emphasizing his country's commitment to the path of peace.
In statements made following the Iranian attacks that targeted Manama and several Gulf capitals, King Hamad described these assaults as a direct threat to regional and international security, resulting in damage to civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, private property, and economic and oil facilities, in addition to injuries among civilians.
King Hamad said: "Our approach is to adhere to peace, and our people are peaceful and believe in tolerance and coexistence," stressing that the attacks represent a blatant violation of the United Nations Charter and the rules of international and humanitarian law, as well as principles of good neighborliness.
This statement comes after a wave of Iranian assaults, which included the interception of 86 missiles and 148 drones since the onset of the attacks, targeting buildings that house Qatari security personnel, according to official reports, with assurances of the safety of individuals and no significant human casualties.
Bahrain and all Gulf Cooperation Council countries renewed their rejection of any threat to regional security and peace, affirming their continued efforts to enhance defense and protection measures for all their citizens and vital infrastructure.
