The international Buildex exhibition in Damascus has kicked off with the participation of 740 local and international companies.

The exhibition city on the Damascus International Airport road is preparing to host the 22nd edition of the international construction exhibition "Buildex," which will start next Tuesday, becoming the largest of its kind in the economic field in Syria. The exhibition will feature 740 local, Arab, and international companies, including 250 foreign companies, including 112 Turkish, 28 Jordanian, 20 Saudi, and 10 Chinese companies, in addition to 490 local companies, in various fields including construction materials, stone and marble, paints and insulation materials, HVAC equipment, pipes and elevators, hand tools, ceramics, sanitary fittings, aluminum and glass, alternative energies, water technologies, environmental sustainability, home, office, and hotel furnishings, real estate development companies, engineering offices, shipping companies, banks, security and safety systems, and electricity and lighting. The exhibition is held under the patronage of the Ministries of Public Works and Housing, and Economy and Industry, and will continue until the 31st of this month. The exhibition program includes 15 lectures and dialogues to be held in the lecture hall within the Saudi pavilion on the second, third, and fourth days, with the participation of a selection of engineers, academics, and businessmen from Syria, the Arab world, and foreigners. Visitors are welcomed daily from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, except on Fridays starting from 2:00 pm. "Buildex" is an important platform that brings together companies and experts in the construction sector, enhancing commercial and investment cooperation opportunities and contributing to boosting economic development in Syria.
