Egyptian Folk Artist Mohamed Awad Passes Away Due to Sudden Heart Attack, Entertainment Industry Mourns His Loss

Egyptian folk artist Mohamed Awad passed away early Thursday, July 10, due to a sudden heart attack, just days after attending the funeral of his late colleague Ahmed Amer, who also died from the same cause.
According to local sources, Awad experienced severe chest pain on Wednesday evening and was immediately taken to a hospital in Ismailia, but efforts to save him were unsuccessful, leading to his passing in the early hours of the morning.
Musician Mustafa Kamel, head of the Music Professions Syndicate, mourned his friend on his Facebook page, saying: "To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return... May Allah have mercy on you, my beloved, forgive you, and pardon you... I saw you at the funeral two days ago and you told me: Alhamdulillah, I am fine."
On the other hand, Mohamed Sabry, a member of the Music Professions Syndicate and a friend of the deceased, explained that the cause of death was "heart muscle weakness," the same reason that claimed the life of artist Ahmed Amer a few days earlier.
The news of Awad's passing has deeply saddened the entertainment industry, with several Egyptian folk music stars mourning him and emphasizing the loss of two prominent voices in Egyptian music within a short period.
