Syrian-Russian Meeting to Discuss the Development of Air Defense and Artillery Specialties in the Ministry of Defense

The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced today, Thursday, that Brigadier General Yahya Baytar, Director of Training at the Air Force and Air Defense, held an official meeting with a Russian military delegation headed by Navy General Korbenko Oleg Viktorovich, as part of the military cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting addressed ways to qualify and develop the specialties of artillery, air forces, attachments, and armored vehicles, in line with the requirements of the current stage, aiming to raise the level of efficiency and combat readiness in various military units.

This meeting is part of a series of technical meetings aimed at enhancing military and technical coordination between Syria and Russia, especially in the fields of training and field modernization.
