Minister of Health, Dr. Mosaab Al-Ali, met today, Monday, with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Sudanese Embassy, Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Hassan, to discuss enhancing and developing partnerships between the two countries, and the possibility of establishing joint investments in the pharmaceutical industry. Minister Al-Ali emphasized the importance of developing relations, cooperation, and mutual benefits, noting Syria's efforts post-liberation to improve the quality of medicine, monitor and regulate pharmaceutical facilities. On his part, the Sudanese Embassy's Chargé d'Affaires expressed his country's desire to sign a memorandum of understanding regarding cooperation with Syria in the pharmaceutical industry, given its proven quality and effectiveness, and to enhance collaboration in training and medical qualification in various specialties. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Minister of Health, Dr. Hussein Al-Khatib, the Director of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Zuhair Qarad, and several directors and officials.
