Minister of Health, Dr. Musab Al-Ali, discussed on Thursday with the Minister of Health of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Syed Mustafa Kamal, ways to enhance mutual cooperation between the two countries. The two sides discussed various health topics during the meeting held on the sidelines of the 78th session of the World Health Assembly in Geneva, including medical education, academic exchange, cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry, health system development, aiming to improve the quality of services and enhance the efficiency of medical staff. Both sides emphasized the importance of building on the historical relations between Syria and Pakistan to expand health cooperation for the benefit of the two friendly peoples. The 78th session of the World Health Assembly in Geneva, under the theme "One World for Health," began on May 19 and will continue until May 27.
