In the early hours of Friday, a sense of sadness and shock enveloped the Egyptian artistic community, as everyone was struck by the news of the sudden passing of the comedic artist Suleiman Eid due to a heart crisis before reaching the hospital. Abdul Rahman, the eldest son of the late artist, confirmed that his father suffered a heart attack at 6:30 am, and despite being rushed to the hospital by ambulance, fate was quicker than any medical intervention, as he took his last breath on the way. Suleiman Eid's departure was not the first of its kind among the stars of the art world who have been surprised by heart crises, leaving behind a state of shock and grief in the hearts of their fans and colleagues. Similar stories preceded his, perhaps the most memorable being the passing of the young actor Mustafa Darwish in May 2023, when a heart crisis struck him while he was asleep, and his family couldn't save him in time, leading to his death in his apartment in Cairo. In another painful scene, the artistic community lost the artist Tarek Abdel Aziz in November of the same year, after he suddenly felt extreme fatigue while filming scenes for the series "We Were Two," collapsing in front of his colleagues before they could transfer him to the hospital. As for the artist Tamer Diaa, his death witnessed poignant and tragic moments, as he was in a private hospital with his wife receiving chemotherapy treatment, before getting into an altercation with a security guard there, leading to a sudden heart crisis that took his life in the hospital corridors. The audience also remembers the young artist Amr Samir, who passed away at the age of 33 in July 2017, after suffering a heart crisis while in the Spanish capital Madrid, following his exercise in one of the sports halls, departing quietly and far from his homeland. The music industry bid farewell to the artist Ahmed Al-Hajjar in 2022, after he suffered a sudden heart crisis following his participation in rehearsals for one of the concerts, falling minutes later without anyone being able to save him. Sudden departures, recurring tragedies, and successive losses of names that have left their mark on the public's hearts, remind us of the fragility of the moment and the preciousness of the time we have.
