Victim's Parent of Mohamed Ramadan's Party: "Money Does Not Equal Life.. We Demand Justice"

Hassan Al-Afwi, the father of the young man Hossam Hassan who died during the recent concert of artist Mohamed Ramadan in the North Coast, confirmed that his family has not received any financial compensation, denying what has been circulated in this regard.
Al-Afwi said in television statements: "Money does not equal life, and we do not accept compensation for our son," pointing out that Mohamed Ramadan's visit to them in the hospital after the incident was brief, and he did not return or provide any compensation afterwards.
He explained that the family is living in deep sorrow and grief, affirming that their main demand is to achieve justice and obtain their son's rights, saying: "We want to hold accountable all those responsible for the incident, and that this matter does not go unpunished."
Al-Afwi also revealed shortcomings in security procedures during the concert, saying: "The concert did not adhere to the necessary security measures, and it was poorly organized, which caused chaos and a stampede that led to my son's death."
It is worth mentioning that the incident occurred last Thursday in the Porto area of the North Coast, as a result of fireworks falling on the audience, which resulted in the death of Hossam Hassan and injuries to others.
Mohamed Ramadan's revival of a new concert just two days after the incident sparked widespread controversy on social media, with supporters seeing it as a commitment to prior contracts, and opponents considering it neglect of the feelings of the victims after the tragedy.
Al-Afwi confirmed that he has filed an official report regarding the incident, demanding a serious investigation and ensuring that such incidents do not recur.
