Sheikh Hikmat Salman Al-Hajri, the spiritual leader of the Unified Muslims, expressed his welcome to the decision to lift the American sanctions on Syria, considering it a "historical step paving the way for a new phase of stability and reconstruction."

This came in a statement issued by Sheikh Al-Hajri, affirming that "this step represents a national liberation from the effects of the defunct regime, and a direction towards truth and the public interest." He added, "Any victory for the nation is a victory for all our rights, and lifting the sanctions on Syria is a right of its people who have suffered the bitterness of injustice and threats."

The statement addressed regional and international situations, pointing out that "the ongoing changes surpass the impact of internal events, necessitating healing wounds, bridging divides, and striving to uplift the nation after years of pain and hardships."

Sheikh Al-Hajri also called for "removing unjust barriers, stopping violations, and working with a spirit of compassion to overcome differences," considering the American decision "an opportunity to achieve economic and social stability, away from marginalization policies."

He emphasized the necessity for "this change to positively reflect on the lives of Syrians," stressing the importance of "living under the umbrella of a unified civil Syria, with all its sectarian and ethnic diversity."

In conclusion, Sheikh Al-Hajri thanked all those who contributed to lifting the sanctions, with special appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for his role in this achievement. He concluded with a call to "complete God's grace, bring peace and tranquility to Syria and the region, to build a future filled with love and tolerance."
