Spain strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted Mar Elias Church in Damascus yesterday, resulting in numerous innocent victims.
The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on its "X" platform today, Monday: "The government of Spain strongly condemns the terrorist attack on Mar Elias Church, expresses its solidarity with the families of the victims, offers sincere condolences to them, and wishes a speedy recovery to the wounded."
The ministry also reaffirmed Spain's commitment to supporting peace and stability in Syria.
