Shocking Video.. Man Cuts His Tongue with a Machete Before Being Shot by Police in Los Angeles

Los Angeles witnessed a horrific incident that sparked widespread controversy after the city police released a video documenting a bloody confrontation with a man armed with a machete.

The police stated that the incident occurred on the morning of July 13, when witnesses reported a man standing in the middle of the road at the intersection of Figueroa and Olympic Streets, waving a large machete and threatening passersby.

The authorities clarified that the man, named Gurbreet Singh (35 years old), stopped his car in the middle of the intersection before getting out and engaging in strange behavior, as he appeared in the video cutting his tongue with the machete.

Despite repeated orders to drop the weapon, Singh refused to comply, instead returning to his car and throwing a water bottle at the officers, then driving recklessly while waving the machete out of the window.

The short chase ended when he crashed into a car and stopped near Figueroa Street, before rushing towards the police officers while holding the machete, leading to him being shot and killed on the spot.
