President Ahmed Al-Shara met today, Wednesday, with dignitaries and elders of Quneitra and the Golan to discuss the situation in the province.

The Syrian Presidency stated via its Telegram channel: "The President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Ahmed Al-Shara, met with dignitaries and elders of Quneitra and the Golan, where he discussed the service, living, and security conditions in the province. He also listened to the interventions of the attendees, addressing their needs and suffering from repeated Israeli incursions and attacks."

It added: "President Al-Shara emphasized the need to stop the attacks through indirect negotiations via international mediators, stressing the importance of the role of dignitaries in strengthening national ties and conveying the concerns of citizens".
