Security forces in Homs arrest "Mario" involved in Syrian war crimes.

Security sources in Homs province reported the arrest of a person named "Kamel Mohammed Shareef Al-Abbas," known as "Mario," for his involvement in multiple war crimes against civilians, including his prominent role in the solidarity neighborhood massacre that shocked the local and international public opinion.
According to "Syria TV" website citing security sources, the suspect is considered a key figure in carrying out the massacre, which was also linked to the former officer "Amjad Yousef," as documented in video recordings showing unlawful killings targeting civilians in the area.
Investigations confirmed Al-Abbas's confession to serious violations, including sexual assault on a woman in front of her husband, as well as other crimes committed during the years of conflict in Syria.
The investigations also revealed his recent involvement in smuggling weapons and supplying them to groups of former regime elements hiding in the countryside of Homs, as part of their efforts to revive the activities of armed groups.
