Turkish Minister of Trade reveals a new roadmap that has been set to develop bilateral trade and economic relations with Syria.

"Syria TV" quoted Minister Bulat as saying: "Turkey's exports to Syria increased by 47% in the first four months of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024."
He emphasized that Turkish exports exceeded one billion dollars.
Bulat added: "The recent Turkish delegation's visit to Syria resulted in the preparation of a multidimensional roadmap concerning bilateral economic and trade relations."
Bulat also confirmed that in the first stage, an agreement was reached to transfer reciprocal transport activities from border crossings to border provinces in preparation for their complete termination.
He continued: "It was decided to start negotiations on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the two countries to achieve economic integration."
Bulat said: "Turkey will provide training programs and field visits to Syria in areas where it has expressed a need for Turkish expertise."
He pointed out that the Turkish experience will also be shared in public-private partnership models and the "Build-Operate-Transfer" model regarding the development of the Syrian transport infrastructure.
