Official Iranian media reported today, Saturday, that Iranian intelligence agencies have obtained a large collection of sensitive Israeli documents, some of which relate to nuclear plans and facilities of Tehran's adversary. There has been no official comment from Israel so far. It is unclear whether the report is related to hacking activities targeting an Israeli nuclear research center, which was reported last year and Tehran has decided to reveal now amid escalating tensions over its nuclear program. State-run channel "Press TV" quoted undisclosed sources stating that "despite the documents being obtained some time ago, the massive volume of materials and the need to securely transport them to Iran necessitated media blackout to ensure their arrival at designated secure locations." "Press TV" also added that "(informed sources) also indicated that the number of documents is so vast that reviewing them, along with viewing images and watching videos, took a long time," without providing details about the documents. In 2018, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israeli agents had seized a "massive archive" of Iranian documents showing that Tehran had conducted more nuclear activities than previously known.
