Syrian Airspace Reopened After Temporary Closure Due to Regional Tensions

The Syrian Civil Aviation Authority announced today, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, the resumption of operations in the air corridors that were temporarily closed due to tensions in the region.

The authority stated in a statement posted on its Telegram channel that air traffic will return to normal starting at 10:00 AM, after being closed since June 18 of this year.

This temporary closure followed escalating military tensions between Israel and Iran, which disrupted civilian air traffic in the airspace of several countries in the region.
