The Governor of Aleppo, Azam Al-Ghareeb, received today, Tuesday, a delegation from the Turkish Independent Businessmen and Industrialists Association "MÜSİAD" and a number of Syrian businessmen in Turkey.

The Syrian News Channel quoted Aleppo Governorate as saying: "The delegation included about 15 Turkish companies specialized in construction, reconstruction, waste-to-energy conversion companies, and contracting companies."

The Governorate added: "The two parties discussed the economic and investment situation in the governorate, pointing out the significant similarities between the needs of Aleppo and the city of Malatya after the earthquake, reflecting the importance of opening communication channels between the two sides, especially at this stage."

The meeting discussed investment laws, especially the new laws, emphasizing the need to simplify legal procedures as a step towards opening up investment opportunities in the country, according to the Governorate.
