Rashford: Ronaldo taught us how to stay at the top.. and I was lucky to play alongside him

Recent statements by Marcus Rashford, the star of Manchester United and currently on loan to Barcelona, revealed the impact that Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, the star of Al Nassr, has had on his career and personality.
These statements came during Rashford's recollection of the brief period they spent together at Manchester United before Ronaldo's departure in November 2022.
In special statements, Rashford expressed his gratitude for playing alongside one of the legends of football, saying: "Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the players I was grateful to play alongside."
The English striker did not hide his admiration for Ronaldo's exceptional career, adding: "Of course, I watched him a lot when I was younger, but I don't think anyone can match his consistency, but it is indeed a lesson for all of us that playing at the highest levels for many years is incredible, so all the respect to him."
Rashford confirmed that a role model like Ronaldo motivates players to put in more effort, continuing: "But he also shows us that we can all make a little extra effort to try to stay in football for as long as possible."
It is worth mentioning that Rashford (27 years old) is one of the key stars of Manchester United, having played for the first team for 10 seasons. Last January, the English striker was loaned to Aston Villa due to disagreements with coach Ruben Amorim.
He then returned and was loaned again last summer to the Spanish club Barcelona, where he has participated in 9 matches so far, scoring 3 goals.
