The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced during its council meeting held in Zurich, Switzerland, the kickoff date of the 2025 Arab Cup, which will take place in Qatar from December 1 to 18, coinciding with the country's National Day celebrations.

The tournament will see the participation of 16 Arab national teams competing for the title, as Qatar prepares to host it for the second consecutive time following the great success of the 2021 edition.

Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth and Chairman of the tournament's organizing committee, expressed his pride and happiness in hosting the event, emphasizing that the tournament will be a meeting point for Arab nations to celebrate their common passion for football, attracting millions of fans in the region.

The stadiums that will host the tournament matches, as well as ticket sales details, are expected to be announced soon.

It is worth mentioning that the first edition of the Arab Cup, held in Qatar in 2021, was remarkably successful, witnessing a large global audience and outstanding football performances, culminating in the Algerian national team winning the championship title after defeating the Tunisian team with two goals in an exciting final held at Al-Bayt Stadium, one of the venues that hosted the 2022 World Cup competitions.
