Putin proposes an interim governance system in Ukraine.

During a visit to the port of Murmansk in northern Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed studying the application of an interim governance system in Ukraine under temporary administration, aiming to enable new elections and reach a settlement through signing key agreements.
Putin affirmed that Russia is "gradually but confidently" advancing towards achieving its goals in the ongoing war with Kiev for over three years.
According to Reuters, the Russian President expressed his belief that U.S. President Donald Trump, who seeks to improve relations with Moscow and find a solution to the Ukrainian war, "sincerely desires peace in Ukraine."
On another note, Putin mentioned Russia's readiness to cooperate with North Korea in conflict resolution, while addressing the escalating competition in the Arctic among global powers, and stating that cooperation between Moscow and Western countries in the region is still possible.
The Russian President warned that although Russia does not pose a threat to anyone in the Arctic, it is prepared to defend its interests there.
Putin reiterated his determination to enhance trade through the Northern Sea Route in the polar waters, as part of Russia's pivot towards Asia to reduce reliance on Europe due to Western sanctions.
