Putin in Samara to Discuss Engine Development After Participating in the Eastern Economic Forum

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Samara after participating in the events of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, where he is scheduled to hold a meeting dedicated to discussing issues related to the development, production, and maintenance of engines.
During his tour, Putin will visit the "UEC-Kuznetsov" company, part of the state-owned "Rostec" group, which specializes in engine manufacturing, and he plans to meet with the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov.
Putin announced this visit during the general session of the Eastern Economic Forum, confirming that he would head to a Russian region after the forum's activities to focus on issues related to the development of the engine industry.
It is worth noting that the tenth edition of the forum, which started last Wednesday in Vladivostok and will continue until September 6, has seen wide local and international participation, and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Trutnev revealed that the event has so far resulted in the signing of 283 agreements worth 6 trillion rubles (about 75 billion dollars).
