The Commission investigating the fate of detainees and disappeared persons in Syria confirmed that the arrest of the former ministers of social affairs and labor was due to legal violations and we have evidence proving their involvement.
During a press conference held today, the Commission stated: "One of the proposed solutions to identify the families of some children in orphanages is to conduct DNA tests."
The Commission continued: "The current phase of work is to search for facts and information about the fate of the children," and said: "There are significant obstacles due to the former regime's lack of official documents or information about the children's fate."
The Commission also affirmed that it will continue its work on the file of missing children until it reaches all children and determines their fate.
