The Ministry of Education has announced the postponement of the Religious Education exam for high school students in both the scientific and literary branches of the General Secondary Certificate, which was scheduled for today, Monday, July 14, 2025, in the Sweida Governorate only, due to the current security conditions in the governorate, and the concern for the safety of students, educational, and administrative staff.

The Ministry explained in an official statement that this decision is a result of the unfortunate events taking place in the Sweida Governorate recently, which may hinder the exam process in a safe and organized manner, emphasizing that the security and safety of students and teachers are an absolute priority that cannot be compromised.

The Ministry also affirmed that the new exam date will be determined and announced later through official channels, urging students and their families to follow the news and updates from reliable sources and not to fall for rumors.

The Ministry expressed its wishes for the safety of all the residents of the Sweida Governorate, and its hope for the return of stability to continue the educational and exam process smoothly, wishing all students success and luck in their exams.
