Egypt condemns Israeli attacks on Syria and Lebanon, affirming their violation of international law

Egypt expressed strong condemnation for the repeated Israeli attacks on the territories of Syria and Lebanon, noting that they represent a "blatant violation of the sovereignty of the two sisterly Arab countries", as well as a "breach of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions".

This came in an official statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, published on the ministry's website, warning that these violations "could deepen tensions" and describing them as "a fundamental element of instability in Syria, Lebanon, and the region".

The statement also pointed out that these escalations come "amid a delicate situation where regional and international efforts are being exerted with effective Egyptian participation to de-escalate and support regional security and stability".

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry reiterated Egypt's position calling for "respecting the sovereignty of both Syria and Lebanon", expressing "full rejection of interference in their internal affairs", and emphasizing "respect for the unity and territorial integrity of their lands".

It is worth mentioning that several Arab countries have joined Egypt's stance, condemning the recent Israeli attacks on Syrian territories as well, describing them as "a blatant violation of international law and a dangerous escalation in the region".
