Peruvian referee to officiate Morocco vs. USA in the quarter-finals of the Youth World Cup

The International Football Federation (FIFA) has chosen Peruvian referee Kevin Ortega to lead the match between the Moroccan youth team and the United States national team, scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, in the quarter-finals of the Under-20 World Cup.

Ortega will be assisted in managing the match by Michael Orue and Jesus Sanchez, who are also from Peru, while Argentine Dario Herrera has been appointed as the fourth official for the match.
Moroccan team's journey to the quarter-finals
The Moroccan national youth team qualified for this stage after winning in the round of 16 against South Korea with a score of 2-1, in an exciting match that the “Atlas Cubs” secured in the final minutes.
The United States national team reached the quarter-finals after a resounding victory over Italy with three clean goals.
Group C leadership
The Moroccan team topped Group C in the group stage with 6 points, having achieved two victories over Brazil and Spain, and suffered only one defeat against Mexico by a goal to nil.
