Two Fires Break Out in Agricultural Areas in Daraa and Quneitra Due to Drone Debris

The Syrian Civil Defense reported today, Sunday, June 22, the occurrence of two fires in agricultural areas in the provinces of Daraa and Quneitra in the south of the country, resulting from the fall of drone debris believed to be linked to military operations in the region.
According to what was published on its official channel on Telegram, the Civil Defense received two consecutive reports on Saturday, the first from the vicinity of the village of Al-Shajarah in the western countryside of Daraa, where the fall of drone remnants led to the burning of cultivated lands with black cumin crops. The firefighting teams were able to quickly control the fire and contain its spread.
As for the second fire, it broke out near the village of Al-Ajraf in the countryside of Quneitra, after the fall of another drone debris caused a fire in a forested area. The Civil Defense confirmed that its teams intervened immediately, extinguished the fire, and fully secured the site.
In a related context, the Civil Defense warned civilians against approaching "foreign objects or debris resulting from military operations," urging them to immediately report any similar sightings to the relevant authorities and leave the handling to specialized engineering teams for war remnants removal.
