Famous American billionaire Elon Musk revealed that he declined an invitation he received from the late businessman and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to visit his private island in the Caribbean.
This came after new documents showed that the founder of Tesla and SpaceX was invited to attend a meeting on "Epstein Island" in December 2014.
* Musk wrote via his official account on the "X" platform (formerly Twitter):
"Epstein tried to convince me to go to his island, and I refused."
He added, pointing out that Prince Andrew, a member of the British royal family, had indeed visited the island, as confirmed by flight records.
* New Documents Expose More Names
Musk's statements came following the release of the third batch of documents related to the Epstein case, which were revealed by the House Oversight Committee, and included:
• Records of phone messages.
• Copies of flight schedules and passenger lists.
• Financial account books.
• Epstein's daily schedule.
In one of these documents, specifically in Epstein's calendar dated December 6, 2014, a reminder read:
"Reminder: Elon Musk to the island on December 6 (Is this still happening?)".
However, the document did not clarify whether the visit actually took place or not, which Musk personally confirmed by denying participation.
In another document, a flight record from New Jersey to Florida in May 2000 showed that Prince Andrew was on board, reinforcing his potential involvement in questionable relationships with Epstein.
* The Epstein Case .. A Prolonged Scandal for Years
The roots of the Epstein case date back to 2005 when he was convicted of engaging in prostitution with a minor, but the case resurfaced strongly after his arrest again in 2019 on charges of sex trafficking of minors, and accusations of violating the rights of dozens of teenage girls, some of whom were not older than 14 years.
Epstein owned a private island known in the media as "Epstein Island," located near St. Thomas in the Caribbean, which later became a symbol of the exploitation of minors, with many celebrities' names circulating who visited it or were connected to him.
Epstein died in August 2019 in his cell in New York, officially described as a suicide while awaiting trial, but the circumstances of his death continue to spark controversy and fuel conspiracy theories about his extensive relationships with powerful global figures.
* New Figures Under Scrutiny
Alongside Musk, the leaked documents include names and other influential political and economic figures, bringing renewed attention to the complex network Epstein built over decades, with the help of his associates, led by Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for recruiting and enticing minors for Epstein.
It seems that Epstein's shadow still haunts prominent names, especially in Britain, where it is reported that King Charles III is extremely concerned about the implications of the case on the royal family's image, while Prince William seeks to distance himself from any connection to his uncle Prince Andrew, who is accused of having questionable ties with Epstein.
