Mohammed bin Rashid crowns the champions of the Arab Reading Challenge 2025 on October 23

The Dubai World Trade Centre will host the closing ceremony to crown the champions of the Arab Reading Challenge in its ninth edition on October 23, under the patronage and attendance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.
Bin Rashid confirmed that the dissemination of knowledge will remain a fundamental pillar in the UAE's approach, calling for support for an ambitious Arab generation that seeks to learn and serve its homelands. He added: "The rush of millions of Arab students towards reading 50 books annually confirms that the passion for knowledge does not extinguish, and that reading is a path to restoring civilization."
For his part, Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Secretary-General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, explained that the ninth edition witnessed a record participation of more than 32 million students from 132,000 schools in 50 countries, supervised by 161,000 supervisors. He noted that this participation confirms the ability of Arab generations to absorb modern knowledge, refine talents, and build the knowledge future.
During the ceremony, the champion of the Arab Reading Challenge 2025, the champion in the category of people of determination, the distinguished school, the distinguished supervisor, and the champion of the communities will be honored.
