Finally, Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan broke his silence and responded in a way that drew attention to the controversy that followed him after his recent participation in the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California, USA, which sparked a wide wave of criticism on social media due to his described "controversial" clothing. Ramadan, who appeared confident in his response, posted a video on his official social media accounts, indicating that he deliberately delayed the response, preferring to first focus on delivering a strong performance at the second concert on the Coachella stage. He emphasized in his speech that when he stands on this global stage, he carries his name, his country's name, and his audience who have supported him since the beginning. Then he directly addressed his audience, saying: "My audience who supported me and watched me grow, knows that Mohamed Ramadan has never worn women's underwear, not in a movie nor a series, with all due respect to the artists who have done so." He continued by stating that his audience knows that he wore an earring only in a movie and a music video, but in reality, he has never worn it and will not. Regarding the outfit he wore at the first concert, Ramadan said that he did not intend what was interpreted through social media, but the goal was to present an appearance inspired by Pharaonic civilization. He thanked the fashion designer, hinting that she may not have had enough metal pieces to complete the design, which caused the outfit to appear somewhat short. However, the most controversial statement came at the end of his speech, when Ramadan shockingly said: "The Mohamed Ramadan that his audience knows, does not wear women's underwear... he just takes them off." This bold statement did not go unnoticed, but rather increased the controversy surrounding him, adding more media momentum to his concert that has been a global talking point from the start.
